This is a new dulcimer signed and dated. It has a Redwood top with Cherry back and sides. The fingerboard is Honduran Mahogany with an Ebony cap. It has a 26 3/16” VSL with 6+ and a 13+ fret. The peghead is a hand carved scroll with Wittner Fine Tune pegs that have an internal gearing ratio of 8:1 for precise tuning. The binding is Curly Maple with a b/w/b purfling and the entire instrument is finished with 12 coats of lacquer hand rubbed to a high gloss. It comes with TKL hard shell case.
