This is a Mandola or Tenor Mandolin signed and dated. It has a Redwood Top and a spalted Maple Rosette. The back and sides are Black Walnut. The neck is Black Walnut and the fretboard is Ebony with a scale length of 17” (C,G,D,A) and mop position markers on the fingerboard. It has curly maple binding and b/w/b purfling.
The instrument is finished in 12 coats of lacquer hand rubbed to a high
gloss finish.
