Mill Creek Octave Mandolin

This is an Octave Mandolin signed and dated. It has a Redwood Top and a spalted Maple Rosette. The back and sides are Black Walnut. It has curly maple binding and b/w/b purfling. The neck is Black Walnut and the fretboard is Ebony with a scale length of 22 7/8” (G,D,A,E) and mop position markers on the fingerboard. There is a two way adjustable truss rod. The instrument is finished in 12 coats of lacquer hand rubbed to a high gloss finish.
