Mill Creek Open back Banjo (Frosted top Waverly tailpiece.)

This is a new Open back banjo with an 11” shell made of 3 maple plys. It has a Frosted head and a Waverly tailpiece. It has a ¼” round rolled and polished tone ring, a 24 notched tension hoop with L shoe brackets and banjo bracket hooks.

 The neck is mahogany with an Ebony fingerboard and a scale length of 26 3/16”. There is a two way adjustable truss rod. It has planetary tuners and a geared fifth sting tuner. 

The peghead is an original design and The Ebony peghead overlay has my own original logo inlayed on it. It has two coordinator rods to attach the shell to the neck. The instrument is finished in 12 coats of lacquer hand rubbed to a high gloss finish.
